Traveling Naturalist to Present at Minnetonka – 11/27

2004 Plymouth Road | Minnetonka, MN 55305
Wednesday, November 27, 2019 | 3 p.m.

The Moose is Loose! From the big-eyed white-tailed beauties in our Minnesota yards to the caribou of Alaska’s tundra to the big-limbed moose of the north woods, Melonie Shipman, a lifelong naturalist has been engaged with the deer family for decades. We will explore their special adaptations and lifestyles as vegetarians who must manage long, snowy winters and multiple predators to just survive another day. You will look with new eyes at animals that you may have seen many times in your life in photos or live. Now you’ll know the rest of the story.

Interested in attending to get a feel for life at Cherrywood Pointe? Please RSVP by November 26 to Susan at sstodol1@fairview.org or (952) 525-4542.
