Dementia: Compassionately Connecting & Communicating
2004 Plymouth Road, Minnetonka, MN 55305
Tuesday, February 19, 2019 | 4:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Communicating and connecting effectively with a person who is living with dementia is not something that comes naturally to everyone. Please join us to learn more about interacting successfully with persons with dementia, including ways to de-escalate those experiencing acute distress. Marysue Moses, Ebenezer’s DimensionsTM Program Coordinator, will provide insight to help you maintain enjoyable, productive relationships with persons with dementia in your care.
Light refreshments will be served.
Please RSVP by February 18 to email@example.com or 952-525-4542.
This session is the first in our Cherrywood Pointe of Minnetonka Care Partner Education Series. This education series will be offered the third Tuesday of each month, and is an opportunity for care partners–especially caregivers of loved ones with memory loss–to get resources, tips, education and support.
