Shelly grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. She moved to the Twin Cities to attend college and has been here ever since. Shelly now lives in the western metro with her husband, Bob, and their rescue dog, Maxine. She always knew she would end up working in senior housing. “I’ve helped many family members navigate the senior housing marketplace over the years, and I was looking for the right opportunity for a career move. I’m so happy to have landed here at Cherrywood Pointe in Plymouth – it’s the best job I can imagine. The leadership team is awesome and the residents are simply the best.”

Carol’s nursing experience started in high school working in a nursing home. She was taking a nursing class at the time and got her CNA certificate. She worked as a CNA for 12 years before attending nursing school in Rochester, Minnesota. Carol’s love of seniors spans over 40 years. She spends her free time with her husband of 28 years, three boys, one daughter-in-law, two dogs and two cats. Carol grew up in Michigan but has called Minnesota home for 30 years. She loves the outdoors (even in winter!) and feels blessed to be working with such a great group of co-workers.

Erin began her career working in immunology labs, but her passion for fitness and wellness helped lead her to the senior living field. While working full time in the lab, she accepted a part-time job as a fitness instructor at a senior living community in Denver. Within a few months she completed her career switch to a full-time fitness coordinator. Most recently, she worked at the Cherrywood Pointe of Roseville community before taking on her new position in Plymouth. Erin and her husband, Kent, love staying active, cooking, spending time outdoors (when it’s not below zero), relaxing and making memories with their family and 14 nieces and nephews.
Culinary DirectorView bio
Dave has been in the food industry for over 30 years and has worked in casual dining, fine dining and corporate dining. They have three boys ages 33, 30 and 28, all of whom are in, or have been in, the food industry. Dave’s hobbies include men’s Bible study, golf and seeing as many baseball stadiums as he can.
