Opened in January 2018, Cherrywood Pointe of Plymouth is one of our newest communities. These senior assisted living apartments in Plymouth are located at the intersection of Old Rockford Road and Highway 55. Sherry is passionately dedicated to supporting senior housing care choices, building teams and community. Sherry holds a M.A. Degree in Health and Human Service Administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She has 15+ years of experience in the senior services industry. In her free time, Sherry enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, theater, music, and the arts with her family.

Shelly grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. She moved to the Twin Cities to attend college and has been here ever since. Shelly now lives in the western metro with her husband, Bob, and their rescue dog, Maxine. She always knew she would end up working in senior housing. “I’ve helped many family members navigate the senior housing marketplace over the years, and I was looking for the right opportunity for a career move. I’m so happy to have landed here at Cherrywood Pointe in Plymouth – it’s the best job I can imagine. The leadership team is awesome and the residents are simply the best.”

Jody is a Registered Nurse with over 26 years of experience. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings assisting with newborns to geriatrics. She enjoys providing the best care possible. Growing up she wanted to be a veterinarian or teacher, but with nursing, Jody says, “I get the best of both worlds and thoroughly enjoy the training aspect, to see that ‘Ah ha’ moment for everyone I touch. I take great pride in ensuring that my residents have those purposeful meaningful moments every day.” In her spare time, she enjoys spending it with her family, beautiful 3 grandbabies, any outdoor activities & she is a huge Vikings Fan–Go Vikes!!

Sue McCollins is the Activities Director and is responsible for planning and implementing a quality leisure and social events programs, designed to assist residents in living life to their fullest potential. She has a BBA in Business/Marketing from Iowa State University and brings valued and varied experience from her previous roles in sales, marketing and education, including seven years in the Wayzata School District.
Sue has a genuine passion and enthusiasm for connecting with seniors and their families. She is thrilled to be part of the Ebenezer/Fairview team, where everyone is dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults in a community environment, making sure the residents live the most fulfilling life possible – physically, spiritually and socially.
Sue and her husband, Dan, have three children, Tommy, Kelly and Cassidy, and their ‘princess’ Golden Doodle, Honey. They have been part of the Plymouth/Wayzata community since 2006, and very involved as a Wayzata ‘hockey family’ for many years. Sue enjoys walking, yoga, snowshoeing, hiking in the mountains, reading, traveling and spending time at Sullivan Lake. Sue’s favorite pastime though is spending quality time with family and friends!

David was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and got his love of cooking from his mother and grandmothers. He attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and worked as a Sous Chef for Wolfgang Puck Catering and Events in Hollywood, Califorinia. In Minnesota, he’s worked as an Executive Sous Chef for two different country clubs, as an Executive Chef for the Minneapolis Womens’ Club and an Executive Chef for another nearby senior living community. David is an avid golfer, is learning to play the guitar and is learning to be a better gardener.
